For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Data Scientist Responsible AI to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $139,764 – $287,749 annually
Responsibilities
- Design automated adversarial testing methodologies for Generative AI products
- Build hybrid evaluation pipelines to detect safety and policy violations
- Develop harm taxonomies aligned with the company’s AI safety standards
- Create adaptive refinement loops to discover vulnerabilities
- Apply statistical methods to AI safety evaluation and metric definition
- Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate findings and influence product safety
- Mentor junior data scientists on responsible AI practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of data analysis experience in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience in AI safety or adversarial machine learning
- Deep understanding of large language models and their vulnerabilities
- Proficiency in designing evaluation frameworks for AI systems
- Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with SQL/Spark
- Understanding of AI safety taxonomies (e.g., OWASP, MITRE) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
