Sr. Data Scientist, GenAI & Labeling Platforms

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Data Scientist Genai & Labeling Platforms to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $139,764 – $287,749 annually

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced scientific work in GenAI-enabled labeling systems
• Identify opportunities to enhance quality and efficiency using LLMs
• Develop prototypes for prompt optimization and human-in-the-loop workflows
• Design evaluations for model performance and workflow outcomes
• Collaborate with teams to implement successful approaches into production
• Establish standards for bias measurement and quality control
• Contribute to scalable methods and frameworks for future use
• Mentor junior scientists and ensure team technical health

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data science or ML, or a PhD with 3 years' relevant experience
• Proven individual contributor in complex, high-impact projects
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or generative AI techniques
• Ability to transform complex problems into practical analyses and prototypes
• Strong programming skills to affect product direction
• Effective cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with labeling systems and evaluation frameworks preferred
