Sr. Biological Data Scientist

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Biological Data Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. As a Sr Biological Data Scientist, you’ll turn raw data into decisions, helping leaders across the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech organization see what’s working and what’s next. You’ll own key analyses, dashboards, and models that guide strategy, forecast outcomes, and uncover new opportunities. If you love blending curiosity with rigor, this role gives you a front-row seat to how data shapes the business.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $185,000 – $220,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute multi-omics computational analyses
• Develop and maintain Python codebases for scalable analyses
• Apply statistical methods and AI/ML for biological insights
• Define analytical objectives and prioritize data projects
• Stay current with multi-omics technologies and innovate methods
• Communicate findings through reports and visualizations to various audiences

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Structural Biology, Systems Biology, Data Science, or related field
• 3+ years of postdoctoral or industry experience with large-scale human omics data
• Broad computational biology experience, especially in structural biology and proteomics
• Strong Python software development skills, including collaborative package contributions
• Proven independence and project management from concept to completion
• Solid grounding in statistics and experience with high-dimensional biological data
• Familiar with AI/ML methods for exploratory data analysis
