For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer Materials to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

Build and maintain full-stack features across UI, API, business logic, and data models
Design and implement rule engines for pricing, inventory, and selection constraints
Enrich the home data model linking designs to real-world product availability
Architect scalable and maintainable systems for the new vertical
Create configuration and selection experiences for interdependent choices
Optimize backend performance through query tuning and indexing strategies
Develop complex search and filtering systems for large catalog datasets

Qualifications

5+ years of full-stack engineering experience building user-facing features
Professional competency with React, SQL, API design, and optimization
Experience with configurator, customization, or rule-engine UX
Track record of building extensible production systems
Strong UX intuition and capability to analyze complex constraint systems
Entrepreneurial spirit with tolerance for ambiguity and new builds
