For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer L5 Python Platform to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $388,000 – $619,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Design internal Python libraries to tackle common developer challenges
- Enhance the Python development experience by incorporating best practices and latest technologies
- Optimize tech stack for improved scalability and performance
- Collaborate with partner teams to create an effective software development lifecycle for Python developers
- Participate in team support and on-call rotations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of extensive experience with the Python web stack, including FastAPI and Flask, focusing on performance optimization
- Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU software stack integration, such as CUDA-aware Python and TensorRT
- Expertise in optimizing low-latency and high-throughput distributed systems
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other platform teams
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity in customer and partner needs to develop suitable products
- Willingness to adopt various roles, including project and product management, as needed
- Proven ability to balance modern best practices with a risk-aware approach to change
- Fluency in artificial intelligence concepts
