For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer Autonomous Vehicles to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver robust real-time software for autonomous vehicle systems
Conduct algorithm analysis and optimization to enhance AV stack efficiency
Architect systems for deploying ML models and monitoring performance
Collaborate with teams to ensure integration of ML-based perception and planning
Stay updated on trends in high-performance computing and AI-driven mobility

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics; Ph.D. preferred
Proven project leadership and mentorship skills in fast-paced environments
Strong backend programming skills in C++ and Python
Experience in designing and deploying real-time software systems in high-impact fields
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, software architecture, and design patterns
