For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer 5 - TV & Web Player Platform to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will drive meaningful impact across key initiatives and partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to execute against strategic priorities and scale performance. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution in a high-growth environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $388,000 – $558,000 annually

Responsibilities

Design and implement complex automated tests for streaming experiences
Lead optimization efforts for build, integration, and release workflows
Drive technical direction for test automation initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve scaling challenges
Proactively identify improvement opportunities for streaming quality and reliability
Mentor other engineers and guide them through technical processes
Conduct rigorous testing of new features to ensure optimal performance

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience focusing on test development
Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Hands-on experience optimizing CI/CD pipelines
Ability to drive quality through experimental design and A/B testing
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach
Exceptional communication skills for cross-team collaboration
Experience mentoring peers in technical areas
