Senior Technical Marketing Engineer - Network Automation

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer - Network Automation to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market, with a focus on translating advanced network automation capabilities into clear customer value. The position will help shape how automation features are positioned, demonstrated, and adopted across complex enterprise environments. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Solutions teams to improve interoperability, create compelling technical content, and support broader market education. This is an opportunity to influence product direction while engaging with the network engineering community.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000 – $230,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management to define and shape automation capabilities
• Design customer workflows that showcase automation features
• Enhance and build product integrations for better interoperability
• Develop lab environments for demos and use-case testing
• Create internal technical content and training materials
• Collaborate with Marketing on external assets such as whitepapers and presentations
• Enable Sales and Solutions teams with relevant demos and training
• Represent the organization at industry events and contribute to thought leadership

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Technical Marketing Engineer or Network Engineer
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts and network change management
• Experience with NetDevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in networking
• Familiarity with Git, API integration, and network data model automation
• Hands-on experience with network automation tools like Ansible and Terraform
• Experience with complex enterprise networks in on-prem, virtualized, and cloud environments
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
