This is a senior technical leadership role focused on shaping native mobile strategy across iOS and Android. The engineer will drive large-scale migration efforts, build reusable automation to improve engineering efficiency, and establish a shared foundation that strengthens collaboration across mobile teams. This position also partners closely with product, design, and engineering leaders to clear blockers, align on major technical decisions, and improve the overall mobile development experience.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $253,895 – $298,700 annually

Responsibilities

Define the technical strategy for advancing native mobile app development
Lead AI-assisted migration design and create reusable automation frameworks
Architect a foundational native framework to improve collaboration across iOS and Android teams
Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to remove blockers and support organizational readiness
Mentor senior engineers, cultivate technical leadership, and help with succession planning
Establish best practices and foster a strong community among mobile engineers

Qualifications

12+ years of software engineering experience in native mobile development (Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android), with strong proficiency in both platforms
Demonstrated ability to drive outcomes across multiple teams, including impactful multi-phase migrations or rewrites
Expertise in mobile performance optimization, including cold start, frame stability, and profiling
Skill in influencing cross-functional teams and securing alignment on significant technical decisions
Experience designing AI-native engineering workflows for scalable automation and efficiency in software processes
