Senior Software Engineer, Marketing Enablement & Technology

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Marketing Enablement & Technology to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will shape the technology that supports marketing operations, with a strong focus on backend services, APIs, and data pipelines. You will partner closely with Marketing and Product teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions that improve efficiency, performance, and cost effectiveness. The position also calls for strong product thinking, thoughtful trade-off decisions, and a commitment to elevating engineering quality across the team.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $199,000 – $210,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end projects across backend services, APIs, and data pipelines with minimal guidance.
• Architect scalable solutions for high-throughput marketing operations, focusing on performance and cost efficiency.
• Identify and solve underlying technical problems to drive improvements and promote code reusability.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to influence features and requirements, balancing complexity and business value.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and onboarding, while enhancing team productivity through process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of software engineering experience, particularly in Python for backend services and data pipelines.
• Proven ability to lead projects from architecture to production rollout.
• Expertise in data integration technologies like Snowflake and SQL, and workflow tools such as Airflow and DBT.
• Experience designing for performance and scalability, with a focus on observability solutions.
• Strong product thinking skills, capable of influencing product direction and making strategic trade-offs.
