Senior Software Engineer II, Storage

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer II Storage to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. You’ll build and maintain systems that power mission-critical Consumer Technology workflows. You’ll collaborate with product and peers to design clean, scalable solutions. This role values craftsmanship, impact, and ownership.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $192,000 – $242,500 annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction for storage platforms with significant ownership
• Collaborate with application engineering teams to understand problems and deliver solutions
• Develop and deploy high-quality, scalable software solutions
• Drive initiatives to unlock innovations in storage and application development
• Manage the architecture and design of systems for performance and reliability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale cloud services or application development
• 1+ years delivering large-scale solutions with PostgreSQL
• 1+ years building cloud-based control-plane software
• Self-motivated with a passion for startup environments
• Strong sense of ownership in improving customer experiences and system automation
• Ability to solve technical challenges and champion root cause analysis
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and driving best practices
