Senior Software Engineer, Graphics Performance

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer Graphics Performance to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $184,000 – $356,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and develop innovative Linux Vulkan and OpenGL graphics software features
• Develop and maintain software technologies for the company’s GPU hardware on Linux
• Ensure optimal performance and cross-platform implementation of graphics software
• Collaborate with global teams in software, hardware, architecture, and OEM support
• Enhance and maintain existing software features

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years hands-on experience developing OpenGL/Vulkan system-level software for Linux OS
• 3+ years experience in graphics rendering, shader programming, compilers, and optimizations
• 8+ years of programming experience in C and C++
• Low-level Linux OS knowledge, especially memory/resource management and hardware virtualization
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
