Senior Software Engineer, Frontend Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer Frontend Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $195,000 – $250,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible, and optimized web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Use Node.js for front-end architecture and server-side rendering
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with APIs
• Work with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical specs
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of frontend applications
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming to maintain code quality
• Contribute to maintaining code documentation and the company’s knowledge base

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js)
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and web accessibility principles
• Familiarity with unit testing tools and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Selenium)
• Proficient in version control tools such as Git
• Experience in Agile development environments
