Senior Software Engineer, Foundations

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer Foundations to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $166,900 – $230,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend systems for audience segmentation and marketing attribution
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers on data solutions for customer acquisition
• Extend data infrastructure for increased data volumes and new integrations
• Implement monitoring and validation measures for data quality
• Engage in discussions about architecture and platform scalability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience with 4 years in the industry
• 5+ years experience with backend distributed systems or large-scale data platforms
• Proficiency in data processing systems and production databases
• Experience with implementing fault tolerance and monitoring for backend systems
• Collaborative experience with engineering, product, or business stakeholders
