Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Platform

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Platform to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will shape high-impact initiatives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution. You will partner across technical and business teams to turn complex ideas into scalable solutions and meaningful outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both roadmap priorities and long-term organizational capability.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $144,000 – $209,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and build shared cloud and networking platforms for a service-oriented architecture
• Enhance reliability and scalability through automation and best practices
• Engineer resilient networking infrastructure for diverse workloads
• Develop golden paths for safe service deployment and operation
• Participate in production system operations including on-call rotation

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in cloud and infrastructure engineering, supporting teams or users
• Hands-on experience with AWS including Terraform for infrastructure management
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, specifically EKS for container orchestration
• Solid understanding of service networking, traffic management, and routing tools
• Experience with observability technologies like Datadog
• Ability to automate in Go, Python, or Bash with a focus on clarity and maintainability
• Strong collaboration skills to translate broad technical needs into solutions
