For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (aws) to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Technical Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $140,000 – $160,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Write scalable and maintainable JavaScript for AWS services
  • Design, develop and monitor RESTful APIs
  • Create efficient services for managing large datasets
  • Develop clean and organized infrastructure-as-code templates
  • Manage data security and organization in S3
  • Build AWS integrations with Salesforce and refactor existing processes
  • Collaborate on project scoping and roadmaps with Product Managers
  • Contribute to project documentation and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with a backend programming language (preferably Node.js)
  • 4+ years in cloud environments (preferably AWS)
  • Willingness to learn Salesforce and engage in related projects
  • Experience with AI code assistance tools like Github Co-pilot
  • Drive for continuous skill improvement and tackling challenging projects
  • Desire to support and mentor team members
  • Strong communication skills with peers in Engineering and Product
