For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, API Enablement to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will drive meaningful impact across key initiatives and partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to execute against strategic priorities and scale performance. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution in a high-growth environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $163,600 – $226,400 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of new features and improvements to existing features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and build an impactful roadmap
- Establish best practices for achieving an Event Driven Architecture and safe feature rollout
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence
- Contribute to quality improvements within the team and the engineering organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or a related field (or its equivalent) + 4 years of experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong proficiency in one or more of Kotlin, Java, Python, Ruby, or Typescript programming languages
- Proficiency in automated testing patterns
- Experience in building highly observable systems
