Senior Software Engineer, Android Test Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer Android Test Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Media space. You’ll build and maintain systems that power mission-critical Media workflows. You’ll collaborate with product and peers to design clean, scalable solutions. This role values craftsmanship, impact, and ownership.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $190,800 – $267,100 annually.

Responsibilities

• Build engineering culture that prioritizes quality in software development
• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks and tools
• Analyze production issues and improve automated testing
• Ensure stability of test infrastructure in non-production environments
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause identification
• Influence engineering practices for unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an SDET or Software Engineer in Android
• 3+ years in Android development
• Experience creating scalable automated test frameworks
• Proficient with automated testing tools like Espresso or UIAutomator using Kotlin
• Familiarity with JetPack Compose preferred
• Knowledge of QA methodologies for mobile releases
