Senior Software Engineer, AI Storage

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer AI Storage to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $184,000 – $287,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop first-in-industry solutions to enhance performance and security in application infrastructure
• Create new features for data storage in GPU IO
• Design advanced C++/CUDA libraries and performance optimization algorithms
• Eliminate performance bottlenecks in IO stacks and frameworks
• Collaborate with research teams on complex engineering tasks

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of programming experience in C, C++, Rust, Python
• Solid knowledge of Linux kernel internals and Filesystem
• Familiarity with Object storage systems and Vector Databases
• Understanding of NVMe and related technologies
• Experience with Cloud, Virtualization (VMware, KVM), and Container technologies
• Advanced knowledge in Computer Architecture
• Bash and Python scripting skills
• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience
