For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - AI Cocounsel FDE to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Media environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $118,400 – $219,800 annually
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI solutions for legal workflows including contract review and litigation support
- Build scalable and maintainable AI systems under the guidance of the AI Solutions Architect
- Develop multi-step agentic workflows integrating various legal databases and third-party AI APIs
- Implement observability and quality controls for production AI systems including monitoring and benchmarking
- Engage with clients and legal stakeholders to translate workflows into actionable engineering plans
- Collaborate with AI architects and peers to improve engineering practices and deliver high-quality solutions
- Experiment with emerging AI techniques and prompt engineering to enhance solution quality
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in system design and distributed systems
- At least 2 years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML or LLM applications in production environments
- Proven proficiency in Python and backend engineering practices, including RESTful API development
- Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or AutoGen, and knowledge of RAG architectures and vector databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code principles
- Experience with observability tools like Datadog and Grafana for AI system monitoring
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with legal professionals and stakeholders
