For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer In Test (sdet) to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Business Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $160,000 – $185,000 annually

Responsibilities

Design and write test plans and automated test scripts for various applications
Analyze and improve testing pipeline scalability and performance
Create and implement automated test frameworks
Develop solutions for automated and load testing
Lead complex projects to completion
Use independent judgment in testing strategies
Make informed recommendations to management
Mentor other engineers in testing best practices
Identify opportunities for automation across various testing levels
Communicate effectively with technical and management teams about testing insights

Qualifications

7+ years as a software engineer or test automation engineer
Proficient in C# or Java
Thorough understanding of software development life cycle
Expert in QA testing techniques and STLC
Experience testing REST web services
Skilled at testing backend-heavy services with minimal UI
Ability to design custom test tooling for complex systems
Practical experience using GenAI/LLMs for engineering solutions
Experience with stress and load testing tools
