For our client, we are seeking a Senior Applied AI/ML Developer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will focus on designing and implementing applied machine learning solutions that support advanced retrieval and generative AI capabilities. You will partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical ML approaches that improve solution performance and delivery. The position also offers the opportunity to mentor team members, shape technical direction, and contribute to innovation in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $123,000 – $180,400 annually
Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning solutions for retrieval-augmented generation platforms
- Conduct data analysis to create datasets for ML model training
- Work collaboratively to enhance solutions and stay on the technology edge
- Mentor less-experienced team members on key ML features
- Engage with stakeholders to address critical business needs
- Translate business objectives into solvable ML challenges
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning
- Hands-on experience with Natural Language Understanding (NLU)
- Proficiency in the Python ML stack, including Pandas and deep learning frameworks
- Knowledge of experimental design and results analysis
- Experience leading Machine Learning teams in production
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams for ML solutions deployment
