Security Software Engineer (L6), Platform Security

For our client, we are seeking a Security Software Engineer (l6), Platform Security to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will shape high-impact initiatives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution. You will partner across technical and business teams to turn complex ideas into scalable solutions and meaningful outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both roadmap priorities and long-term organizational capability.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $530,000 – $920,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Innovate within the agentic identity domain for upcoming GenAI applications
• Advocate for advancements in the identity and authentication area with a focus on business needs
• Design, build, and maintain essential identity and authentication services for the company
• Develop features related to agentic identity, mTLS, and authentication token issuance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide secure and reliable solutions
• Participate in on-call rotation to maintain high-availability security services

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in software development, particularly within security domain
• Expertise in Java, with a focus on scalable and secure distributed systems
• Strong background in cryptography, workload identity, or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
• Proven ability to connect security principles with business needs and influence cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated judgment in making complex security trade-off decisions
