Product Manager, Developer Ecosystem

For our client, we are seeking a Product Manager, Developer Ecosystem to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

This role will shape the strategy and roadmap for a developer-facing ecosystem that supports both established builders and emerging creators. The position will focus on improving onboarding, app management, discovery, and review experiences while helping the company expand into AI-assisted creation tools. You will partner closely with Engineering and other cross-functional teams to strengthen platform capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and support a growing community of apps and experiences.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $217,000 – $303,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy for transitioning the company's ecosystem to support AI-assisted creators
• Own roadmap management for the developer platform, ensuring effective onboarding and app management
• Lead initiatives for AI-assisted app creation, integrating low-code solutions and user-friendly tools
• Develop a marketplace strategy for easier discovery of quality community experiences
• Enhance app review processes through automation and AI assistance to improve operational efficiency
• Collaborate with Engineering on core platform capability improvements and resource prioritization
• Drive the success of apps and games by identifying best practices and support structures

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading platform or ecosystem products, particularly in developer or creator spaces
• Strong judgment for building platforms that cater to both advanced developers and new creators
• Comfortable with technical aspects like code, APIs, and engineering discussions
• Ability to analyze ecosystem needs from multiple perspectives including users, communities, and business priorities
• Proven experience enhancing onboarding processes, documentation, and app distribution workflows
