For our client, we are seeking a Principal UX Designer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $157,000 – $271,400 annually
Responsibilities
- Craft UX visions and strategies for the OTTAVA and MONARCH robotic systems
- Lead the design definition for complex robotic experiences
- Develop and maintain a design system that meets user interaction needs
- Ensure high-quality designs including workflows and documentation based on user requirements
- Refine product roadmap in collaboration with Marketing and project leaders
- Partner with Software and Robotic Controls to enhance surgical operating room functionalities
- Mentor junior UX designers within the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Digital/Visual Design, Industrial Design, or related field; higher degrees preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience designing digital experiences for sophisticated systems or medical devices (or 8 years with a Master's)
- 4+ years leading teams of UX designers and participating in problem-solving
- Experience influencing stakeholders without direct management
- Proven track record in end-to-end product development with multiple launches
- Expertise in designing embedded UIs across various mediums including touch, sound, and AR/VR
- Strong proficiency with UX design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Suite)
