Principal UX Designer

For our client, we are seeking a Principal UX Designer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UX design for Bluehost Group portal surfaces
• Drive design from customer problems to hi-fi deliverables, including journey mapping
• Contribute to the Bluehost design system with reusable components
• Review low-fi prototypes with PMs to ensure customer-focused design
• Lead design critique sessions to elevate the quality across the UX team
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and CX research to enhance user engagement
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and design system requirements

Qualifications

• 10+ years of UX/product design experience with a strong portfolio
• Deep expertise in modern design system tooling
• Experience in web hosting, CMS, or SMB-facing products is a plus
• Strong systems thinker focused on designing patterns
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
• Proven experience collaborating with PMs and engineers in agile environments
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for presenting to leadership
