Principal Product Manager, Communications Platform

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Manager Communications Platform to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $187,900 – $260,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategy for the Communications Platform
• Collaborate with engineering to build messaging APIs and governance controls
• Establish platform abstractions to streamline customer communications
• Drive alignment across multiple departments to prioritize platform investments
• Develop capabilities that enhance regulatory compliance and visibility
• Define success metrics and use insights for platform improvements
• Evaluate external technologies and partnerships to enhance capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of product management experience
• Experience with platform, infrastructure, or developer product management
• Strong collaboration with engineering teams on APIs and systems
• Proven cross-functional leadership in product initiatives
