Principal Engineer, Integrated Product Analytics Innovation Lead (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Engineer, Integrated Product Analytics Innovation Lead (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will lead advanced product analytics efforts that support engineering decision-making, root cause analysis, and broader technical problem-solving. The ideal candidate will bring strong data science and machine learning expertise to help transform complex datasets into actionable insights. This position will also partner with engineers and analysts to improve workflows, automate analyses, and strengthen internal technical capability.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $107,500 – $204,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis using Python to support business needs
• Perform statistical analysis to evaluate data sources for completeness and validity
• Support engineering root cause analysis investigations
• Implement machine learning algorithms across various datasets
• Mentor data analysts and provide modeling expertise
• Automate data analyses and improve efficiency
• Develop tools to enhance internal team workflows

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 8 years of experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience
• Proficiency in data analysis using Python, including Pandas or PySpark
• Experience with statistical analysis for data completeness and validity
• Experience implementing machine learning algorithms on various datasets
• Ability to automate data analyses and formatting processes
