For our client, we are seeking a Principal Data Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. You’ll play a key role delivering outcomes for customers and stakeholders in the Consumer Technology space. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally and take ownership of priorities. This role offers visibility, growth, and impact.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $163,300 – $303,300 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Select, build, and optimize machine learning models using advanced techniques
  • Utilize big data technologies on cloud platforms for scalable solutions
  • Independently design and develop proof-of-concept projects from ideation to delivery
  • Create applications powered by large language models for advanced automation
  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines and performance tracking systems
  • Collaborate with software engineers in an agile environment to deliver features
  • Conduct analyses and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience in data science or an advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in writing production-grade machine learning models in Python
  • Deep knowledge of distributed systems and scalability architecture
  • Proven track record of executing organization-wide technical initiatives
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Ability to communicate complex data science concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a collaborative environment
