Principal Data Scientist - Cloud Gaming and AI

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Data Scientist - Cloud Gaming And AI to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $248,000 – $379,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to Data Scientists and Engineers for GPU Compute service deployment
• Collaborate with Leadership to understand requirements and design tech roadmap
• Lead the design and implementation of AI/ML solutions for actionable insights
• Develop scalable solutions for real-time User Diagnostics and Chatbot functionality
• Enhance organizational productivity by processing vast data using advanced models
• Utilize forecasting models for capacity management and latency reduction
• Create predictive models for User Retention and outreach campaigns
• Design self-learning harnesses for analytics and deployment improvements

Qualifications

• Master's/PhD or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research or related field
• 15+ years of software experience in large-scale production deployments
• 8+ years of proven expertise in Statistics/AI/ML
• Hands-on skills in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java
• Proficient with data storage and processing tools like Spark, Pandas, Delta Lake
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for data insights
• Track record of leading successful data science projects at scale
