For our client, we are seeking a Lead Software Engineer Full Stack - Shopping (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $179,400 – $204,700 annually

Responsibilities

Lead diverse technology projects and a development team
Stay current with tech trends and mentor engineers
Collaborate with product managers to create cloud-based solutions
Develop using JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go
Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and various AWS tools

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience
1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Preferred Master's Degree
7+ years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
2+ years in Agile practices
