Lead Software Engineer, AI Platform (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Software Engineer AI Platform (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Real Estate & Construction environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of ServiceNow and AWS-native AI capabilities
• Identify and implement AI solutions that improve efficiency and service outcomes
• Design a domain-specific repeatable template for Spotify Backstage
• Architect and deliver secure, production-ready MCP servers
• Develop reference implementations for enterprise applications such as Workday
• Create shared authentication libraries for integrating Entra ID and OAuth
• Automate deployment processes using AWS Bedrock and container management

Qualifications

• 7+ years of production Python experience, particularly with async frameworks like FastAPI or Starlette
• In-depth knowledge of AWS infrastructure, including IAM role chaining and Secrets Manager
• Hands-on expertise with AI systems, specifically Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AWS Bedrock
• Advanced skills in implementing OAuth 2.0/OIDC, applicable to enterprise environments
• Experience creating Spotify Backstage templates and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
• Proven track record of integrating complex REST APIs such as Workday and Salesforce
