Director, Data Scientist

For our client, we are seeking a Director Data Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. You’ll play a key role delivering outcomes for customers and stakeholders in the Real Estate & Construction space. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally and take ownership of priorities. This role offers visibility, growth, and impact.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $155,000 – $185,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Define company's enterprise data science strategy and investment areas
• Establish methodological standards for data science across the organization
• Identify high-value data science opportunities tied to business outcomes
• Build and lead the data science function, managing teams effectively
• Own and govern company's model governance framework and standards for responsible AI
• Drive development of predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities across functions
• Stay updated on AI/ML advancements and their practical applications

Qualifications

• 12+ years of applied data science or ML engineering experience, including 4 years in senior leadership
• Proven experience in building high-performing data science functions
• Expertise in data science strategy and governance in complex organizations
• Ability to translate data science capabilities into business value
