For our client, we are seeking a Data Scientist (l5) - Ads (experimentation) to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will shape high-impact initiatives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution. You will partner across technical and business teams to turn complex ideas into scalable solutions and meaningful outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both roadmap priorities and long-term organizational capability.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $372,000 – $600,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Design and execute scalable experimental frameworks for the ad business
- Drive implementation of biddable media models and auction strategies
- Collaborate with teams to tackle 'cold-start' challenges globally
- Identify and advocate for high-impact research opportunities
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Deliver end-to-end solutions utilizing machine learning and data exploration
Qualifications
- MS or PhD in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
- Significant experience with auction dynamics and supply-demand matching
- Mastery of causal inference and experimental design
- Expert proficiency in Python or R, and advanced SQL
- Ability to communicate complex statistical results to diverse stakeholders
- Self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment with radical transparency
