For our client, we are seeking a AVP Business Intelligence & Analytics Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $150,000 – $300,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Products strategy and governance
- Partner with various business leaders to define enterprise KPIs and performance metrics
- Establish data product standards and governance practices for trusted analytics capabilities
- Evaluate and manage analytics technologies and lead build-versus-buy recommendations
- Lead the data science function to drive predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Biomedical Informatics, or related quantitative field is required
- Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Health Informatics, Applied Statistics, or equivalent preferred
- Ten years of progressive experience in data analytics, data science, or AI/ML engineering required
- Four years in a senior leadership role managing technical teams is required
- Experience in vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and technology partnership management preferred
