Senior iOS Engineer | Fully Remote | £100k - £120k

A fast-growing AI company with $100m+ in funding is building a new generation of AI-native applications designed to change how people manage work and everyday life.

Rather than another chatbot, the product is a unified AI workspace connecting email, Slack, Lark and other communication platforms, with AI agents capable of coordinating tasks, conversations and scheduling autonomously.

We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to own the iOS experience and help define how AI feels, responds and performs in users' hands.

You'll be building a production-grade iOS application where AI is central to the product, with performance, reliability and user trust critical to the experience.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain production iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Integrate AI-powered features through backend APIs.
• Build UX for streaming responses, loading states, retries, fallbacks and long-running workflows.
• Optimise performance, memory usage and battery efficiency.
• Capture user feedback and signals to support AI evaluation and iteration.
• Work closely with backend and ML engineers on APIs and system behaviour.
• Maintain high standards of App Store quality, stability and reliability.
• Explore on-device AI/ML using CoreML or TensorFlow Lite.

What We're Looking For

• Strong SwiftUI experience.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML features into mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of async/await, concurrency and background tasks.
• Strong iOS performance and memory optimisation skills.
• Experience shipping and maintaining production iOS apps.
• Comfortable building for latency, partial failures and non-deterministic AI behaviour.
• Exposure to CoreML or on-device ML is a plus.
• Familiarity with feature flags / remote configuration.
• Strong intuition for AI UX and building user trust around AI.
