🔍 Overview
We’re looking for a senior, hands-on Influencer Marketing Lead to own influencer marketing end-to-end. This is a 0→1 and 1→10 role - you’ll design our influencer strategy, build and manage influencer relationships globally, and turn influencers into a repeatable, scalable acquisition channel. While influencer marketing is the core focus, you’ll also work closely with our Growth and Product teams on search, paid acquisition, and AI-era discovery - ensuring we show up wherever modern builders discover tools.
This role is ideal for someone who has run influencer programs in the US (early stage/SaaS preferred).
🧩 What You'll Be Doing:
Influencer Marketing (Primary Focus)
- Design and own our global influencer strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Identify, onboard, and manage influencers across tiers
- Build long-term influencer partnerships, not one-off posts
- Own outreach, negotiation, contracting, timelines, and delivery
- Develop clear influencer briefs that translate our value into native, high-performing content
- Build systems for tracking performance: CAC, retention, assisted conversions, and brand lift
- Experiment aggressively with formats, influencers, and narratives - double down on what works
Creator-Led GTM & Distribution
- Turn influencers into a durable GTM channel (not just a marketing experiment)
- Work closely with founders and Growth to align influencers with launches, features, and narratives
- Explore non-obvious partnerships: affiliates, rev share, co-created products, education, communities
Performance, Search & AI Discovery (Secondary Focus)
- Partner with Growth to support paid search (Google Ads), SEO, and landing page performance
- Think actively about AEO - how Chronicle shows up in ChatGPT, Claude, and other search assistants
👤 What We're Looking For:
- 2-4+ years of experience in influencer marketing, ideally for SaaS, B2B, or prosumer products
- Hands-on experience running influencer campaigns in the US or Europe
- Proven ability to take influencer marketing from idea → execution → scale
- Strong intuition for internet culture, influencers, and what actually converts
- Comfortable negotiating, managing budgets, and holding influencers accountable
- Clear written and verbal communication - you can brief influencers and internal teams crisply
Nice to Have
- Experience working at an early-stage or fast-growing startup
- Familiarity with paid acquisition (Google Ads), SEO, or growth analytics
- Experience building affiliate or rev-share influencers programs
- Background working with tools for influencers, designers, developers, or consultants
- influencer experience yourself (not required, but a plus)
