About Kontent.ai
Kontent.ai is a leading global Content Management System (CMS). We help our clients solve complex content challenges so they can tell their stories and connect with their customers worldwide. With hubs in New York, London, Amsterdam, Brno, and Sydney, we are accelerating momentum across our global enterprise customer base.
The purpose of the role
This role is open in the EMEA region. As Kontent.ai‘s Vice President of Marketing, you will own and drive the global marketing strategy and execution across all functions: product marketing, demand generation, brand, communications, customer marketing, analyst relations, and more. You’ll be a key member of the executive leadership team, shaping how we tell our story, break into new markets, and scale a predictable pipeline globally.
Main responsibilities
Own the global marketing strategy and budget, aligned to company growth objectives and business targets.
Lead and scale a high-performing marketing organization across demand gen, product marketing, brand, content, product documentation, and more.
Drive demand generation and pipeline creation across multiple channels (inbound, outbound, ABM, partner, events).
Elevate our product marketing: define clear positioning, messaging, competitive intel, and enablement to fuel sales and market differentiation.
Strengthen our brand presence: unify and evolve our visual identity, tone of voice, and narrative to resonate across regions and personas.
Manage analyst and influencer relations, building advocacy among key voices in the industry to support category leadership.
Partner with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and regional leads to support GTM execution and expansion.
Set and track clear KPIs across pipeline, CAC, brand awareness, product adoption, and more.
Be both strategic and hands-on: this is a high-pace scale-up, not a corporate ivory tower.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience as a marketing leader in a B2B SaaS global scale-up, ideally with ownership of pipeline and marketing-sourced revenue.
Experience building and leading a global marketing team across various functions (demand gen, product marketing, brand, AR/PR).
Strong product (marketing) acumen—you know how to position a complex SaaS product in a crowded market and enable teams to sell it.
A track record of scaling pipeline and brand awareness through a mix of inbound and outbound programs.
Ability to balance strategy with execution—you’re comfortable both presenting to the board of directors, and brainstorming over the campaign dashboards.
Skilled at working cross-functionally, especially with sales, product, and customer success.
Excellent leadership, communication, and storytelling skills.
Ideally, experience through a major growth phase ($10M $50M+ ARR).
Typical tasks
As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for reviewing weekly and monthly KPIs, including pipeline contribution, MQLs, SQLs, $ pipeline generated, CAC, and campaign performance. You’ll also work closely with Product Marketing on positioning and enabling the Sales team with updated materials.
You’ll be responsible for leading marketing leadership meetings to review progress, unblock teams, and align cross-functionally, conducting 1-1 coaching of marketing team leaders, and handling weekly prioritization of the marketing backlog.
In addition, you’ll manage budgeting and cost reporting on a monthly basis, and play an active role in building customer and partner relationships (as a company advocate). Finally, you’ll proactively participate in leadership/exec team meetings to influence strategy and report on marketing performance.
How this role impacts others
Sales: Provides pipeline, campaign support, messaging clarity, and field enablement.
Product: Brings customer insights, competitive intelligence, and helps position new features.
Customer Success: Drives adoption, upsell/cross-sell motion, and customer advocacy programs.
Executive Team: Supports strategic planning, revenue predictability, and market differentiation.
