About Kolo AI:
We are building a next generation AI personal assistant by leveraging advanced LLMs (Large Language Models). Our mission is to deliver highly personalized results and agentic capabilities to streamline mundane day-to-day tasks. We’re looking for a sharp, experienced Marketing Consultant to help shape and guide the early-stage marketing strategy for Kolo AI.
The Role:
This is not a junior execution roll; we need a strategic thinker who can assess the landscape, identify growth channels, build brand presence, and help us tell our story clearly and compellingly.
You’ll work closely with the COO and co-founders to define our positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy, with a focus on practical output, not theory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine Kolo’s positioning and messaging across key personas and use cases.
- Build a foundational marketing strategy that aligns with product and growth goals.
- Identify and prioritize key awareness and growth channels (social, partnerships, press, influencers, etc.).
- Guide the creation of high-impact brand and product assets (landing pages, decks, launch content, etc.).
- Help shape our voice in the broader conversation around personal AI and intelligent agents.
- Advise on go-to-market plans for future product enhancements and user growth initiatives.
- Collaborate on thought leadership content that sparks interest and builds credibility.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in marketing strategy, ideally with startups or early-stage tech companies.
- Deep understanding of B2C, B2B2C, or prosumer tech, bonus if you’ve marketed AI products.
- Strong grasp of product marketing fundamentals, brand storytelling, and demand generation.
- Highly collaborative, low-ego, and comfortable moving fast with imperfect data.
- Proven ability to operate as a one-person marketing brain trust (ie. strategy + action).
- Excellent communicator who can distill complex products into simple, compelling narratives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience launching a consumer AI or productivity product.
- Strong copywriting or brand content chops.
- Network of freelance designers/copywriters you like working with.
Engagement Details:
- Compensation: Competitive hourly or project-based rate.
- Commitment: ~10–20 hours/week to start (flexible depending on fit).
- Remote: Work from anywhere; we care about output, not location.
