Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead and oversee marketing initiatives for KnowledgeCity across the US and international markets. This role will focus on driving brand visibility, building market presence, and aligning marketing strategies with business growth goals. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in marketing leadership, team development, and global campaign management, with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational execution.
As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing marketing team. You will define and implement KnowledgeCity’s marketing strategy, oversee campaign planning and execution, and ensure consistent brand representation across all channels. This role requires a hands-on leader who can guide creative direction, ensure content accuracy, establish new marketing channels, and drive measurable results.
You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Success, and Product teams to align marketing activities with revenue goals while also managing recruitment, training, and performance within the marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement across the US and international markets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training.
- Oversee campaign planning, copywriting, creative development, and content review to ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency.
- Establish and expand marketing activities across new channels, platforms, and markets to enhance KnowledgeCity’s global reach.
- Review and approve campaign concepts, creative assets, and marketing copy, ensuring alignment with product accuracy and brand guidelines.
- Direct email marketing strategy and campaign execution, ensuring effective lead nurturing, client engagement, and alignment with overall marketing objectives.
- Direct social media strategy and content development to build audience engagement and reinforce brand positioning.
- Manage brand reputation by overseeing PR initiatives, award submissions, and thought leadership campaigns.
- Collaborate with Sales and Success teams to support demand generation, product marketing, and customer retention initiatives.
- Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reporting on campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Ensure deadlines, output, and quality standards are consistently met across all marketing projects.
- Stay current with global marketing trends, tools, and best practices, applying them to strengthen KnowledgeCity’s brand presence.
Required Experience And Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing teams.
- Proven success in leading marketing strategies and campaigns across multiple regions.
- Strong background in B2B marketing, ideally within SaaS, eLearning, or technology industries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor teams, driving accountability, creativity, and results.
- Expertise in brand development, digital marketing, content strategy, and multi-channel campaign management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred), CRM tools, and analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to measuring and optimizing performance.
- A proactive and innovative mindset with the ability to balance strategic vision and tactical execution.
