About the Role
We are looking for a Mandarin Channel Marketing Specialist to develop, execute, and optimise marketing strategies targeting Mandarin-speaking audiences in Australia. The ideal candidate will be an advanced Mandarin speaker with excellent English communication skills, a deep understanding of Mandarin-language digital and offline marketing channels, and experience driving customer engagement and growth. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and strong analytical skills to maximise brand presence and market reach.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing strategies tailored for Mandarin-speaking audiences in Australia.
Manage end-to-end marketing campaigns across WeChat, Xiaohongshu (RED) and other relevant platforms (Douyin, Baidu, Weibo).
Drive content marketing initiatives, community engagement, and customer acquisition through Mandarin-language digital and offline channels.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
Develop and execute influencer and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and credibility.
Plan and oversee online and offline events, partnerships, and sponsorships targeting Mandarin-speaking communities.
Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance, customer insights, and ROI to optimise future marketing efforts.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies in Mandarin-speaking markets.
Key Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Experience working in B2C or B2B marketing and sales.
Knowledge of SEO/SEM strategies for Mandarin-language search engines like Baidu is a plus.
Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
