Here is a little more about the role. The role will be varied, solving new problems from:
· Managing big data from multiple sources using API procedures
· Implementing fit for purpose database schemas in Kline’s cloud-based architecture
· Creating stored procedures in both SQL and Databricks that execute advanced analytic and database cleaning functions
· Building effective, automated data pipelines that processes huge amounts of data
· Designing live, interactive software product architecture using Angular framework
Now here is the official job description: Seeking a Senior Data Developer/Engineer to join its Kline Pro Centre of Excellence, part of the wider Beauty and Consumer team. The successful candidate will profoundly collaborate across the organization, with technical product experts in the Digital Innovation team, our key Technology partners and Beauty domain subject matter experts globally.

Day-to-Day activities and goals:
· Developing and maintaining SQL (and NoSQL) databases in Azure, including schema design, stored procedures and data integrity
· Automating ETL processes with Azure tools
· Data cleaning and testing, both in maintaining SQL databases and preparing data for analysis in Azure Databricks and other software products
· Working with in-house and third-party data providers to build rich data sources
· Scripting programming code for live software products, both from a functional and design angle
· Designing fit for purpose data architecture that enables effective data processing and seamless analysis
· Working with the data science team to develop advanced analytical algorithms
· Collaborating with the Kline Pro product owner to facilitate client queries and data requests
Essential Skills:
· Minimum experience of 5 years in developing and supporting Stored Procedures
· Minimum experience of 5 years with Azure SQL Databases
· Minimum experience of 5 years in scripting functional or procedural programming
· Minimum experience of 5 years using data science coding language, such as Python or R
· Minimum experience of 2 years working with Microsoft Azure or other similar full stack technology
· Minimum experience of 2 years working with Microsoft Databricks or other similar technology
· Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Additional Skills:
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
· SSIS, SSAS, Multidimensional Cubes, DAX or MDX
· Power BI, Azure Data Factory or Azure Analysis Services
· Experience in API development
