We’re looking for a full-time Visual Designer to join our team at Kira Studio and work across projects like a think tank and a fintech startup where we educate, connect and advocate for a society with improved digital trust systems through blogs, reports, podcasts and events. This is a long-term, multi-faceted role where you’ll have the opportunity to shape brands, craft compelling visual narratives, and collaborate with global teams on projects at different scales.

About The Role

As a Visual Designer, you’ll work on a diverse range of projects spanning branding, UI/UX, illustration, and communication design. You’ll bring concepts to life through research driven work while ensuring consistency and impact across different platforms.

What You’ll Do

Develop and execute brand identities, UI/UX designs, and 2d & 3d visual assets for digital and print.
Collaborate closely with a creative director, developers, researchers and content teams to create engaging and effective designs.
Design for a variety of mediums, including web, social media, presentations, reports, and marketing materials.
Work on projects with different startups, and research-driven initiatives.
Evolve and maintain the visual language through a detailed system design of different brands, ensuring coherence and innovation.
Work on quick turn around deliverables while pacing out your time for larger projects.

What We’re Looking For

3 to 5 years of experience in visual design, branding, or UI/UX design.
Strong portfolio showcasing branding, digital design, and storytelling skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate & Figma.
Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling, and accessible visuals.
A deep understanding of typography, colour, composition, and design principles.
Experience working with research-driven complex projects and web developers is a plus.
A self-starter attitude with strong communication, time management and collaboration skills.
Animation skills will be a major bonus.
