Role Description

KIMP is seeking a Senior Motion Graphic Designer [MGD2604BD] for a full-time, 100% remote role based in Bangladesh.

This role is heavily focused on social media video creation, especially short-form content such as reels, TikToks, and ads. The ideal candidate is highly creative, trend-aware, and skilled in producing engaging, high-performing video content that captures attention within seconds.

You will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating scroll-stopping videos, combining motion graphics, editing, and storytelling techniques tailored for digital platforms. A strong understanding of viral trends, hooks, pacing, and audience engagement is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Review client briefs and identify opportunities to enhance content specifically for social media performance (hooks, pacing, storytelling).
  • Conceptualize and create high-impact social media videos, including reels, shorts, and ad creatives.
  • Specialize in CapCut-based editing workflows to produce fast, engaging, and trend-driven content.
  • Develop content that aligns with current social media trends, transitions, effects, and storytelling formats.
  • Create engaging motion graphics, text animations, and overlays optimized for mobile-first viewing.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools to accelerate video creation, ideation, and editing workflows.
  • Execute tasks efficiently within timelines while maintaining high creative quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and team members to ensure content aligns with client branding and campaign goals.
  • Troubleshoot creative or technical issues in video production and proactively suggest improvements.
  • Ensure all deliverables are optimized for platform-specific requirements (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, viral formats, and AI tools.
  • Be available to work full-time and be flexible to collaborate during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours when required (Afternoon & Night shifts).

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in creating social media video content, especially reels, shorts, and ads.
  • Advanced proficiency in CapCut (mandatory) with strong knowledge of transitions, effects, and trend-based editing styles.
  • Good understanding of motion graphics and animation principles to enhance video content.
  • Experience in storytelling for short-form content — hooks, pacing, retention strategies.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and their content trends.
  • Proficiency in tools like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop (added advantage).
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools for video creation, editing, and ideation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and creative thinking.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Portfolio showcasing social media video content is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.

Equipment Requirements

  • A fully functional computer or laptop capable of handling video editing and motion graphics tasks.
  • A web camera for meetings, training, and collaboration sessions.
  • Daily and unlimited access to a fast internet connection (minimum of 25 Mbps).
