Purpose of the role

The role of Marketing Automation Specialist is a key role, responsible for actively implementing and maintaining automated end to end workflows within the Marketing Operations team. This position requires strong logic and understanding of process flows, automation and CRM integrations, namely Salesforce, of which there are currently 3 separate instances being managed.

The role involves frequent interaction with Sales and Marketing to ensure we are accurately and efficiently targeting regional customers, whilst remaining aligned on business goals and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain end to end automation flows to improve marketing efficiency and reach, increasing results whilst reducing manual effort.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure alignment around business goals and objectives.
  • Create and test landing pages, forms, CTAs, etc. to increase conversion.
  • Monitor campaign performance
  • Configure, maintain and manage reporting dashboards, leveraging AI to maximise efficiency.
  • Introduce and manage marketing automation tools into the workflow ensuring alignment with the organisations multiple CRMs.
  • A/B testing and performance analysis to improve and refine campaigns.
  • Remain current with automation trends, tools and industry best practices.
  • Compliance with GDPR and data privacy governance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance regional marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Knowledge, and experience of Salesforce, Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (minimum 3 years)

Business & Strategic Impact

  • The role has a significant impact on the business by ensuring consistency across the automation of marketing activity and enhancing data management practices and processes. Within Keyloop, the Marketing Automation Specialist will be accountable for the accuracy and timely delivery of reporting dashboards, enhanced data management as well as the successful implementation of automation evolution, and efficiencies.

Level of analysis and judgement applied

  • The role requires a high level of analysis, and enhanced knowledge of process and data management, to support identifying trends and efficiencies. This includes analysing complex process and data flows, making informed decisions, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Leadership

  • The role of Marketing Automation Specialist will receive guidance from the Marketing Operations Manager, the Head of Marketing and other members of the marketing leadership team as needed, for improved collaboration. There is also close alignment with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business goals and objectives.

Nature of guidance provided to others

  • The role involves providing guidance and support to Marketing and Strategy team members, as well as collaboration with other departments, to ensure alignment on best practice whilst working to deliver against goals and strategies. This includes setting clear expectations of process, whilst providing context to those outside of the specialism, enabling them to support in following best practice processes.

Relationship Focus

  • The role requires strong relationship-building skills to interact effectively with all contributors throughout Keyloop and external collaborators. This includes the ability to communicate complex technical marketing challenges clearly, and effectively, with a solution focused mindset. Marketing Automation Specialists will have frequent interactions with various internal departments, including but not limited to Operations, Content, Creative, Product Marketing, Sales, IT, HR, and Finance, as well as external partners.
