As a Software Engineer focused on integrations, you'll build the plugins and connectors that make Kestra the central nervous system of our users' infrastructure. From cloud services to on-prem systems, you’ll design, develop, and maintain the bridges that power millions of workflows.

You'll be contributing to a modern open-source platform used by over 10,000 organizations, and working at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and developer experience.

💼 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain high-quality plugins to connect Kestra with third-party systems, APIs, databases, and cloud services.
• Collaborate directly with users and customers to deliver custom integrations that solve real business problems.
• Own the full lifecycle: design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
• Stay at the edge of the tech landscape and proactively add support for new tools, protocols, and platforms.
• Help shape the future of our integrations SDK and internal tooling to scale the ecosystem.

• Backend: Java (Micronaut)
• Frontend: Vue.js, Bootstrap
• Infra & Cloud: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, AWS, GCP, Azure
• Storage: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Kafka
• Dev Tools: GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD

👀 What We're Looking For

• Backend experience: 4+ years building backend systems in Java or similar.
• Infra-savvy: Familiar with cloud infrastructure and tools like Docker, K8s, Terraform.
• Versatile: Comfortable working in multiple languages and environments (Python, Go, Node.js, etc.).
• Protocol fluent: REST, GraphQL, SQL, JSON, MQ — you know your way around APIs and integrations.
• Builder mindset: You take ownership, solve problems end-to-end, and ship fast.
• Open-source friendly: You understand the value of community and enjoy building in the open.

🌟 Bonus Points

• You’ve contributed to open-source projects (or want to!).
• You’ve worked with integration platforms like Apache Camel or Talend.
• You know your way around various databases and cloud providers.
• You have experience building SDKs or plugin architectures.
