Job Title: Lead UX Designer

About the Company - Kerna Health is looking for a Lead UX Designer to support its operational and software development activities of its websites, applications, and infrastructures in a HIPAA compliant manner. The ideal candidate is an experienced UX designer who has both good leadership and communication skills to offer UI/UX designs representing the different healthcare personas and simplify complex problems across different healthcare journeys. You will also be working closely with the Engineering team, Product Management team, InfoSec team, different clinicians, and other UX designers in a collaborative manner to offer the best UI/UX solutions while taking into account the privacy and protection aspects of ePHI. About the Role - Develop UI design standards for all teams to follow. Lead the cross team effort to contribute to the evolution of our design system library. Host and facilitate design review meetings to collaborate with different stakeholders to solve UX challenges with intuitive and easy-to-use designs. Develop and showcase the user experience at various stages of the design process from wire-frames, flow diagrams, storyboards, to high fidelity mock-ups and prototypes. Work closely with engineering teams from design to hand off to ensure components are implemented to UI design specs. Create user-centric and engaging designs for both web and mobile platforms with a mobile-first mentality. Keep abreast of the competition and industry trends to ensure we are at the forefront of providing the best user experience.
