Senior Data Scientist

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our esteemed IT sector team in Warszawa. This role is pivotal in driving the implementation of end-to-end Computer Vision projects across various stages, including Proof of Concepts (PoCs), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and enterprise solutions. Key responsibilities include validating data quality, developing solution components within a microservice architecture, and conducting model performance testing. The successful candidate will leverage Generative AI Models where applicable and support project deliverables by collaborating closely with Customer stakeholders. A critical component of this role is analyzing and interpreting findings, drawing actionable conclusions, and making recommendations that include expected benefits and measuring Return on Investment (ROI) for enhancing business processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming; basic working knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with specific Computer Vision/Machine Learning/Data Science libraries such as NumPy, OpenCV, PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, and APIs like Azure AI Vision or GCP Vision AI.
• Understanding of the theory behind various machine learning concepts.
• Demonstrated experience with Machine Learning, particularly in Computer Vision projects.
• Experience in gathering business requirements, transforming them into a technical plan, data processing, feature engineering, model evaluation, hypothesis testing, and model deployment.
• Experience with one of the major cloud environments: Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level.
• Experience working with big data and distributed environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Generative AI APIs, such as OpenAI or Gemini, is a plus.
