Our client is a fast-growing software company on a mission to transform how organisations manage and deliver IT services. As they continue to invest in the next generation of their cloud-based platform, they are looking to hire an AI-First Software Developer to join their fully remote UK team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a developer who has embraced modern AI-assisted development and wants to build innovative products from the ground up. You'll join a small, highly collaborative team where your ideas will be heard, your contributions will be visible, and you'll have genuine influence over the future direction of the platform.

The Opportunity

This isn't a traditional software development role focused on maintaining legacy systems. You'll be building new features, developing modern cloud-based solutions, and helping shape a product that places AI at the heart of the user experience.

Working closely with product and technical leadership, you'll have the chance to make a real impact while working with the latest AI development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop features and modules for a next-generation SaaS platform.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Claude Code as part of your daily workflow.
• Build and maintain APIs and responsive web applications.
• Contribute to the integration of AI capabilities across the platform.
• Collaborate on technical design and architectural decisions.
• Deliver high-quality, scalable software in a fast-moving environment.
• Take ownership of features from concept through to deployment.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with developers who can demonstrate:

• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools to build real-world applications.
• A portfolio, GitHub repository, or examples of projects developed with AI assistance.
• Strong foundations in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Experience with web technologies, REST APIs and databases.
• A proactive, self-starting approach and a passion for continuous learning.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team.
• Full right to live and work in the UK.

Desirable Experience

Any of the following would be advantageous:

• Microsoft Azure (Functions, App Services, PostgreSQL, Entra ID).
• Docker and containerised development.
• Serverless architectures.
• Authentication technologies such as OAuth, SSO or SAML.
• Experience within IT Service Management (ITSM) or workflow-based platforms.
