We are looking for a forward‑thinking Data Scientist to play a key role in the digital transformation of our Private Debt platform.
You will leverage advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and optimized data flows to enhance investment decisions, strengthen reporting capabilities, and improve operational efficiency across the full credit lifecycle and broader firm processes.
This is not a traditional data scientist position, but a transformation role focused on embedding AI into investment processes, building best‑in‑class reporting, optimizing data architecture and flows.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Advanced Analytics
- Design and deploy AI/ML models and LLM-based systems to enhance
- Credit risk assessment
- Investment performance forecasting
- Scenario analysis and stress testing
- Build and orchestrate agentic AI to support end-to-end investment processes
- Leverage NLP and generative AI to extract insights from
- Financial statements
- Credit memos
- Legal documentation (loan agreements, covenants)
- Explore innovative use cases of AI pilots to augment investment decision‑making and insight generation
Reporting & Data visualization
- Enhance end‑to‑end reporting frameworks for:
- Develop interactive dashboards (Power BI)
- Ensure reporting is scalable, automated, and audit‑ready
- Deploy reasoning agents for AI-driven enrichment
Data Flow Optimization & Architecture
- Lead the optimization of data pipelines and data flows across systems
- Improve data quality, governance, and consistency across platforms
- Reduce manual processes through automation and smart data structuring
IT Transformation & Process Improvement
- Act as a key contributor to the data & IT transformation roadmap
- Partner with investment, risk, and legal teams to design workflows around AI capabilities
- Drive the adoption of agentic AI solutions and LLM platforms
Required Experience
- 0 to 1 year of experience in data science, analytics, or quantitative roles, ideally within private debt, asset management, banking, or consulting
Required Technical skills
- Understanding of LLM (Claude, GPT…), alongside solid foundations in machine learning techniques, data architecture and data modeling
- Capabilities in designing and deploying agentic AI systems including multi-step reasoning workflows, tool integration, orchestration and human-in-the-loop approaches
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for analysis, modelling
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Power BI), data pipelines and ETL/ETL tools (Data Factory), Cloud environments (Azure, Snowflake)
