Job Summary
The E-Commerce Email Strategist at KAR Creative is instrumental in driving the success of our clients' digital marketing efforts. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive email marketing strategies that align with clients' brand objectives and marketing goals. The strategist is responsible for ensuring that all campaigns are targeted, measurable, and effective, contributing to overall client satisfaction and business growth.
Duties
Email Marketing Strategy
- Email Marketing Editorial and Calendar Strategy: Lead the creation of email marketing editorial calendar for brands including development of campaign concepts.
- Develop and Implement Campaigns: Work alongside designers to create and execute email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, conversions, and retention.
- Copywriting for Email: Craft engaging copy for email campaigns including Subject Lines and Previews.
- Segmentation and Personalization: Utilize audience segmentation and personalization techniques to enhance email performance and relevance.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on email elements (subject lines, content, CTAs) to optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Automation: Set up and manage email automation workflows to nurture leads and streamline communication processes.
- Technical Leadership: Lead and implement any technical set up and analysis within the Klaivyo platform.
- Implementation: Implement emails in Klaivyo, utilizing designs completed in Figma.
Communication, Teamwork and Project Management
- Client Interaction: Attend client meetings to understand their goals and provide updates on campaign performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, Designer and other team members to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on campaign performance to clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate client and team feedback into campaign strategies and executions to ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives.
- Team Support: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
- Project Management: Ensure that the email program runs smoothly with all timelines met.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in email marketing and paid media campaign management.
- Proven experience with email marketing platforms and paid media tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client and team collaboration.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
